audacity help needed for cce/cvp audio

Hi,

I'm trying to export audio recordings from audacity to use with CVP.  I hear silence when I call into them.

I recorded as 8000khz, 16-bit PCM (also tried 32bit float), Mono.
Export:  Save as type: Other uncompressed
Header: WAVEX (Microsoft) - I'd been told to use WAV (Microsoft) but that doesn't appear in the list.

Encoding: U-law

I also tried saving as WAV (Nist) - no luck

I used this link recently and it worked for me. 8000Khz, 8 bit mono.
