Automatic startup of a dynamic webpage in CAD

Requirement:

What is needed is the automatic startup of a webpage when a customer gets connected to one of our agents. The address of the webpage needs to have a dynamic part in it that allows for the customer code to be entered that applies to the customer that is calling so that the agent automatically gets the right page in front him or her.

Call Flow:

We need to incorporate a Submenu for Tech support with following option:

Option: Registered customer>prompt for customer code> pass the customer code to web link> Returns the customer details in front of the Agent when the call gets connected.(How can we achieve this..?)

Highly appreciate if someone can provide us with the required info…

Thanks

Sanoop

Hi Sanoop

If you look at this thread I posted a sample script and a word doc on how to pass a value from the script up to the CAD

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2112698

I will do you a sample for 3 later, is it just an account number\ticket number you need to pass up.

Hi Sanoop

There are three parts to your question.

1 getting the extra information from the caller using the CCX script

2 passing this extra information up to the Agent so it displays in CAD

3 Launching a web page with the extra information as a parameter in the URL

Which part do you need help with

Graham

Hi Graham,

I need the last two points..

2 passing this extra information up to the Agent so it displays in CAD

3 Launching a web page with the extra information as a parameter in the URL

Thanks,

Sanoop
