Hi All,
In our new IPCCE setup, agents take around 30 seconds to login to CAD. The CAD version is 8.5.2(a). All edge sites users will take around same time to login. Is this normal or any method to improve the login time? The current ctios based agent desktops take less than 10 sec to login.
Thanks and Regards,
Adithya

Adithya,
Are the CAD & CTIOS agents at same site of Central Controller ?

Hi GP,
Both are located at different sites. Its through WAN.

Adi,
If they are separated by WAN then I advocate Anand's post.

Hi Adithya,
The raw bandwidth requirement for 1,000 CAD agents logging in simultaneously is about 6.4 kilobytes per second and the login time is about 9 seconds (with no network delay) for each agent. If the WAN link did not have this much bandwidth, logins would take longer as packets were queued before being sent and received. If this queuing delay caused the login attempts to take twice as long (18 seconds in this case), would this delay be acceptable? If not, provision more bandwidth.
refer the section "Cisco Agent Desktop Applications Bandwidth Usage" on page 359 in the below SRND guide,
Hope it helps,
Anand
