Calabrio gadget issue in Finesse 10.5

After upgrading Finesse to 10.5, we are seeing an origin policy problem when sending URL calls through the
finesse proxy server using the "gadgets.io.makerequest" method to the Calabrio server.

This used to work in Finesse 10.0, however its broken now in 10.5. Would appreciate any quick ideas here to fix this problem.

To add more,

We are trying to use PAUSE/RESUME functionality through this Calabrio gadget, which is failing in Finesse 10.5.

Would like to add the following:

- Cisco Finesse is accessed via IP Address

- The URL in the 'gadget.io.makerequest' is the IP Address of the Calabrio Recording Control REST Service

The makerequest feature was working with 10 prior to the 10.5 upgrade.  Once Finesse was upgraded, the only way to get the Calabrio Recording URL to work is via IFRAME (ie. change IFRAME source to the Calabrio URL) or use the Calabrio Recording gadget that's hosted on the Calabrio Web App server.

Thanks!

Vincent

Support for Calabrio gadget should be through Calabrio. What error message are you receiving? What pause/ resume functions are you using? That sounds like Calabrio features, you should check with Calabrio on this.

Does the gadgets.io.makerequest support Cross Domain REST service calls?  We have no issues redirecting and IFRAME Source property (within the Finesse Agent Desktop webpage )to point to the same IP URL.  Once we use the gadgets.io.makerequest... the request doesn't get sent to the Calabrio server.

We are able to send the same Pause/Resume URL commands through the IE Web Browser Address Bar.  So, we like to confirm whether 10.5 may be impacted by Cross Domain URL requests.

Hello Piyush,

How did you get the Calabrio Gadget? I am looking to get one as well and was wondering if you could share yours.
