Call from Cisco Agent Desktop

Hi Experts

Would anyone suggest me what I have to do if I want to call from CAD.

You want to dial out from CAD?

You are right Rosssporubski....

If you don't have the dialpad icon on your CAD toolbar, you'll have to edit the workflow in Desktop Administrator to add it so you can dial from CAD

I have already it.

The problem is, when I press dial from CAD to call others an message has shown that the call is failed.

But I could call from phone.

Please suggest me.

Please make sure that the Dial Number as Entered box is checked and try to dial out.

Doh! Forgot about that, Deepak is correct. Make sure the checkbox is selected to dial out and make sure to prefix the call with whatever trigger is used to dial out.

If I check the box will it resolve the issue...?

Yes, you should set yourself up with a test agent IPCC ext so you can log into CAD and test it.

Are you dialing internally or externally? If you're dialing external, you'll need to add CSS to your IPCC extension(s) who will be allowed to dial out externally. If you're dialing internally it'll work fine.

Find the screenshot attached from CDA in case if Dialpad icon is not showing up as Ross recommended.Make sure the icon is set to visible.
