I send RequestXccCallMediaForking request to Cisco router using GSAPI,

But router send two different call recording stream,

first stream is far-end stream and second stream is near-end stream,

my question is how to mix both audio stream and convert to audio format ?.

or how to merge both audio stream ?.

To my knowledge, this is by design. It allows recording applications to discern talkover events and allows ASR which cannot disambiguate multiple speakers. Some recording applications mix the audio received into a single mono channel while others place the two streams into left and right channels.

Thanks for reply

May I ask if you know any resources/tutorials that I can use to mix the audio received into a single mono channel while others place the two streams into left and right channels. I'm also getting the same issue. I'm new to SIP and to VoIP programming so I'm not familiar yet how to do that

Thanks!
