Can an IPCC Extension be on a desk phone and a Device Profile?
Want to know if the users can login to either or with both of them assigned to their End User profile.
Cisco Unified CCX Administration System version: 11.6.2.10000-38

Well....
"Agent devices cannot be shared with any other Directory Number, irrespective of the configured partition. (the Agent device and Directory Number must have 1:1 relationship)"
"Unsupported Configurations for Agent Phones - Unified CCX extension that is assigned to multiple devices"
"The following configurations are supported on agent phones: A Unified CCX extension that is configured on a single device (but not on multiple devices)"

So, technically, it will work, I see people doing something similar with Jabber, but in practice, you'll want to avoid documented no-no's.

A device or device profile is also associated with the user.
The IPPC extension is associated with a user in UCM.
Yes a IPPC extension can be associated with a Device , like CIPC or phone and also on a users Device Profile.
Extension mobility is used to log into the device profile.
Typically a normal Directory Number is assigned to the device and device profile.
The IPPC extension can only be on one registered device at a time, that I am aware of.
