We are currently running Quality Management 10.5 (Cisco) using desktop recording to record calls. We are beginning to start using IP Communicator and I was wondering if we can still use desktop recording or if we need to go to network recording?
Thank you!

I am very sure , but from this document i can say that ip communicator supports desktop recording.
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/workforce_optimization/qm_10_5/reference/guide/qm-integration-guide-cisco-105.pdf
But there are some conditions which it needs to satisfy for desktop recording,
please see the section "Cisco IP Communicator Considerations" in the doc.
Hope it helps.
