Can the E-Mail Agent in UCCX 9.0 be used to generate emails without an inbound email arriving via the email CSQ?

I am trying to determine if an additional email client will be required so that agents can generate emails without an inbound email. For example, the agent takes a voice call and has to send an email as a confirmation of actions taken. 

UCCX 9.0 - Premium seats.

Hi,

I would think of configuring the email subsystem and playing with script with the createEmail and the SendEmail steps once the Select Resource step is done.

I am not completely sure if this can be achieved using this, however I would proceed on this track.
