CCX engine activation failed on subscriber

Dear Colleagues,

During the subscriber initial config I have faced a CCX Engine activation problem with this error message:

Invalid response from AXL; nested exception is: cisco.com.config.axl.AXLException

UCCX version - 9.0(2)

UCM version - 10.0(5)

I have done the followings:

• The subcriber has been added on the publisher
• The subscriber installation has been done with no problem
• Before the initial config I installed a ciscouccx.902SUx.cucm10-compatible.cop

Is there anything I missed?

Hi Laszlo,

The COP was released as a fix for defect CSCum21072

Can you verify by running command "show version active" and check COP file is indeed installed on secondary server as well?

Did you restart your secondary server after successful installation of COP file?

Hi Chakshu,

Both nodes have the same version/cop:

Active Master Version: 9.0.2.11003-44
Active Version Installed Software Options: ciscouccx.902SUx.cucm10-compatible.cop

During the subscriber initial config I chose the LAN option, therefore both nodes use same AXL provider.

I have restarted the nodes several times, but the problem still exists.

Is there anything I can check?

Good news :-)

I have completely shutdown and restart the entire environment (in proper order) and it seems the UCCX Engine has been started on subscriber as well.
