CCX enhancements to uccx clid display on handset?

Has anyone heard of any improvements in CCX for displaying the calling number rather than CTI port DN on phone handsets? - utils uccx icd clid enable was introduced in 10.0 iirc but has issues where the agent must press a button to clear the pop up.

I know that the caller number can be mapped to a variable and displayed in Finesse but the customer wants it on the phone display/Jabber.

I mean, if you really wanted to have fun, you could execute a script to clear the prompt on the agents phone for them 😂
