I am trying to reinstall CAD base services on one server in a replicated system.
A few days ago the HDDs died on one of the servers so I had to reinstall the server from scratch.
I installed CAD base services 7.5 on the server, then applied the 7.6(2) patch. After that I ran PostInstall and tried to set up LDAP directory replication but failed.
I get this in the PostInstall0001.log
INFO LC0000 Connected to Calabrio LDAP server on <172.21.196.233>This is the primary and working server
INFO LM0013 Getting IOR from Ldap
ERROR PI3064 StartSync failed.
ERROR PI3065 StartSync failed. IP = <IP>, API Name = <LDAPMonSvr_i:SetUniqeKey>, Error Code = <21>
ERROR PI3001 Error = <Error in replicating Directory Services>
I thought this might be caused by the fact that the working server was still thinking it had a peer. So I cleared replication on sideA and let it run as a standalone server. Then I tried setting replication again as I would on a clean install per CAD install guide, I still get the same error.
The CAD error code dictionary has a lot to say about this error... bellow is an excerpt from the dictionary...
Text: StartSync failed. IP = <%ls>, API Name = <%ls>, Error Code = <%d>.
Add’l Info: Operation failed.
Has anyone ran into similar issues that can maybe shed some more light on this?
