Cisco Agent Desktop not installed?

Hi,

I have a UCCX 8.0.2 (Standard) environment that works.

I go to plugins to download and install "Cisco Unified CCX Supervisor Desktop" so I can install the Cisco Agent Desktop.

It states: "To install Cisco Unified CCX Supervisor and Agent Desktops, click on the following link"

However, it doesn't install the Desktop Agent only the Supervisor Desktop program.  It's not listed under Program Files.  I tried this on my Win 7 systems (32-bit and 64-bit) and they do not have CUPC running.

What am I doing wrong here because this should be simple?

Hello Rya,

that's weird, i've never seen CSD not installing CAD. Could you please check in this folder and see if you have an agent.exe file:

C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin

Hi,

UCCX standard does not comes with Agent Desktop. You can only user IPPA for agents with standard uccx.

Note: CAD is not available in the Standard package starting from Cisco

IPPA is the only option for Standard license.



In order to use CAD you would need to upgrade to Enhanced or Premium.
