Hi,
i have the need to cretae a IVR script that collects a digit string (input from caller) anche checks versus a database if this string exists (returning true or false).
Is it possible by using a CUE (not CCX) and if yes what licenses do i need?
Reading this doc:
it looks possible.
Can you help me(confirming it if you have implemented similar scripts)?
Regards
Alessandro.

Hi,
yes, it is possible, although I have not touched a CUE AEF script for years. There's a support for Oracle and IBM DB2 and I guess Microsoft SQL Server - the supported version depends on the version of your CUE.
You will need IVR licenses (see this doc: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_1/Licensing/CUELicensing_book/Using_CSL.html).
