Cisco Finesse CRM integration

Hi all im try to integrate cisco finesse 10.1 with Sage CRM. Any sugestion or manual to made that?

Hey Jaime,

The only thing I can recommend from the Finesse side is the Finesse Developer Guide obviously. On the DevNet site there is also a NonGadgetSample, but that is written as a standalone Web Application (to run outside of finesse). I am not familiar with Sage CRM, so don’t know their integration methodologies. A lot of CRM’s do this in “connectors” (where you implement something in the server side). The complexity of an integration like this really depends on their capabilities.

You may access the Finesse APIs via REST or XMPP. You cannot use the Finesse.js file from a different application, outside of the Finesse Desktop.

Well, there is no SDK. The developer guide outlines how to use the APIs.

And, there is a sample gadget, the non-gadget sample here...

I found difficult to understand the complex scenarios like transfer call

and confrence call.

Could you explain your architecture? For example, how are you integrating with your CRM? Is it being hosted in an IFRAME in your custom application? What specific data you trying to access from Finesse?
