Cisco Finesse login and extension mobility

Hi all,

As the title, i have 2 question:

1, Is there some way to login finesse without login agent on CIPC/IP Phone.

2. is there some way to share desk without use extension mobility

Assuming UCCX since you didn’t specify.

 

You can configure the ACD DN on a phone (CIPC counts as a phone) instead of a Device Profile; however, that agent can only use that specific desk/phone then. Extension Mobility is used to allow the agent to move the ACD DN from one phone to another. Remember that it cannot be a shared line.

 

You can technically configure multiple End Users with the same phone and IPCC Extension; however, that only works in practice if they use the same desk/phone at different shifts. For example, employee A uses the phone from 09:00 to 17:00 when employee B arrives and uses it from 17:00 to 01:00 the next day.
