Cisco QM: Recording storage location

Hi All,

If I have a 2 server architecture of base server & recording server, is the storage location tied to the base / recording server?

Storage recording destination is defined and can be network share anywhere. Recording server stores the recordings locally temporarily and then off-loads them to final storage location.
