CSD + Citrix - supervisor monitoring/recording (on UCCX 7)

Hi,

I'm looking at a UCCX 7 solution, with CAD deployed within Citrix (both for Agents and Supervisors)

and CSD straight onto the Supervisor desktops. Because of Citrix, it will be a server-based (SPAN) recording/monitoring design.

1) In UCCX, do Supervisors need to run CAD for monitoring/recording to function (as they do in a UCCE solution)?

2) For the Supervisor, is it correct that CSD can/should be deployed straight on the desktop (not in Citrix)?

    Assuming the Supervisor does need to be running both CAD and CSD, I just wanted to be sure that they

    work together properly even though one is in Citrix and the other is not.

3) The various UCCX docs mentions either SPAN or RSPAN as supported. Would ERSPAN also be supported?

Hello Anthony,

In order to monitor an agent the CAD is not require just CSD. CAD is necessary if your supervisor will do any call intervention like barge-in.

As per the documentation SPAN and RSPAN are completely supported but ERSPAN is not supported for UCCX7
