CTI route point in CUCM become unknown when CUCM goes down

HI,

I have a setup with two UCCX 8.5 and two CUCM 8.5.

Whenever the CUCM pub goes down, i noticed that CTI route point in CUCM become unknown and call cannot send to UCCX.

How to overcome this problem ?

Hi

You would only create the route point through UCCX as you have done.

What you need to do is ensure the following:

1) That the CTI RPs you create are assigned to a device pool, that in turn has a CallManager group containing the list of CallManagers you want to register to. i.e. not just one.

2) That at least two CUCM servers are running the 'CTIManager' service (check Service Activation in CCM Serviceability).

3) That the RM and JTAPI references in UCCX both should refer to more than one CUCM server in the 'selected' side. This is in System/Unified CM Configuration in AppAdmin.

I think you'll be looking at a restart after changing that last one.
