CUCM 7.1 - Transferring calls to AbbrDial numbers?

Hi.

This would appear to be a simple feature however I can't find how to correct this issue!

When using the AbbrDial numbers, a user is not able to select this feature after selecting a line. i.e. to use AbbrDial, the user would start typing in the abbreviated number and then select the AbbrDial key from the softkeys.

IF the user presses the line key first, the AbbrDial feature is not available. This also obviously applies to the problem in hand when I want to transfer a call to an abbreviated number.

Has anyone managed to get around this problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

This appears to be a CUCM issue, not a Contact Center/IPCC/UCCE/UCCX issue.

You might want to re-post this question in the "IP Telephony" community forum under "Collaboration, Voice and Video", where you may find more CUCM expertise.
