Dear Networkers,

We do have CUCM cluster and UCCX cluster v8.5 installed on UCS as follows:

- 1x CUCM Publisher 172.16.100.11

- 1x CUCM Subscriber 172.16.100.12

- 1x UCCX Publisher 172.16.100.13

- 1x UCCX Subscriber 172.16.100.14

we are planning to migrate the ip addresses of the 4 servers to another vlan as follows

- 1x CUCM Publisher 172.16.101.11

- 1x CUCM Subscriber 172.16.101.12

- 1x UCCX Publisher 172.16.101.13

- 1x UCCX Subscriber 172.16.101.14

Is there any order to follow ? I know that such action may result in DB replications issues for CUCM and UCCX clusters, is there any order that should be followed ? should we start with CUCM cluster or UCCX cluster ? we need to change the defaut gateway also.. there are many changes and we're really confused . Can you plaese advice?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards.

Hi,

You can change the CUCM clusters ip first and than the UCCX cluster's ip addresses.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/8_5_1/ipchange/ipchg851.html

Once you change the CUCM ip, run the below UCCX CLI commands,

and restart of the engine and of the Cisco tomcat service.

set uccx provider ip axl

set uccx provider ip jtapi

set uccx provider ip rmcm

Remember to specify all CUCM ip addresses that are part of the cluster.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_5/configuration/guide/uccx851cli.pdf

You can refer the below thread,

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2147128

Once you current UCCX is working fine with the new CUCM ip addresses, than go ahead and change the UCCX cluster ip addresses.

Hope this helps,

Anand
