Hi,

We're planning to upgrade our CUCM from 8.5 to 8.6.2 and I am finding some contradicting information with regards to upgrading the jtapi client on the PG's so that they match the CUCM version. So just wanted to check with you guys what would be the correct procedure?

option 1

=======

Stop pg processes

upgrade jtapi client

reboot

start pg processes

option 2

=======

stop pg processes

uninstall old jtapi client

install new jtapi client

reboot

start pg processes

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Rgds,

Jeroen

I concur and don't forget to do this on side B as well.

I don't think a reboot is required either if you want to do this faster.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your replies.

I have in the mean time also tried it on a lab enviroment and can confirm option 1 works (even without a reboot indeed).

Thanks,

Jeroen

Thank you for confirming and providing an update!
