After creating your report, run it then Select Report Options > Group By. You can do up to three levels of grouping. This will persist through the next time you run the report as well.

Summary / Footer data is handled by the report definition. If you are not seeing the footer on a column, you would need to create or copy a report definition and edit the field formatting properties to select a footer calculation.
