Hello,
I am attempting to delete some legacy users in CUIC, but when I try to delete some, I get this message:
Failed to delete the user because it still owns other objects |
I know how to modify the permissions on a report, dashboard, etc, but I do not know how to change the owner of one. Is this possible, or do the offending objects need to be recreated by another user so they are not lost and then the old ones deleted so the user can be deleted?
CUIC version 9.0(2)

This feature is not implemented. The only solution available at this moment is to assign permissions to the old object to the new user, do a copy with the new user, and delete the old object.

You can use the "Run as" option from the User page in CUIC to login as if you were the affected user. It will show you the objects that the user owns and, if desired, you can delete those objects (as they are not needed maybe).
That worked for me.
