CVP 2.1 IP Originated Call

Is it possible to have an IP Originated call to a Queue in a Type 7 VRU(comprehensive model) without an other type 2 VRU?

Has anyone tried the VOIP hairpin at the gateway?

IP-IP gateway is not supported for ISN 2.x or CVP 3.0 if this is what you are attempting.

I have tried this in my lab. And I did a VOIP hairpin with the new IOS 12.3.11T6. The number goes to the VB but looks like VB is waiting for h245.

Not sure, since the release code of 16 is a normal hangup.

It seems that since the hairpinning gateway doesn't 'own' voicepath, it has no h245 capset to exchange with the VB. Hence the timeout.

I haven't tried this, and I'd bet it's not supported, but I wonder if H323 proxy rather than hairpinning would do the trick.
