Guys,

Need help to understand if i am using it wrong or its the default functionality of menu node.

created a Menu with option 1 and 2 and NoMatch configured as per attached screen shot, so it looks like this..

-Invalidinput.wav
-welcome.wav

after the number of configured wrong attempts it still plays the welcome prompts before moving to maximum no match, that should not be the case and after the last wrong attempt it should immediately move to maxNoMatch path rather than playing the welcome prompt one last time, this is weird

how many max No Match/No Input you configured? if its just one that its application default that on first no match it plays invalid messages then welcome message and then takes no match path.

one nomatch and one noinput and number of retries has been set to 3,

This does not make any sense If the menu is to be played then it must take the input aswell, After three retries it must go to no match path immediately and not play the menu prompt which is useless, as its not taking any input
