CVP VXML App Migration

Have some queries on CVP migration from 7.x to 9.x

I will do a fresh installation of CVP 9.x in UCS Blade Server in a virtualized envrionment, then I want to migrate CVP CallStudio applications from 7.x to 9.x. Can I just copy all the applications from "VXMLServer/applications" directory from 7.x server and paste them in 9.x server and then just do "deployallapps.bat", will this work ?

or

Can I export all the call studio applications from 7.x and import them in call studio 9.x and then deploy in vxml server?

Both approach will work. if you are using custom coded element, make sure you place them also in appropriate directory.

if you choose to import old application in call studio and export it, you will be able to use new features such as web service node, Sub dialogue invoke node and many.

Personally, I always ask my customers to bring the apps into new Studio, validate and deploy. It's just an extra insurance step.
