DB subsystem log files

I am trying to debug some problem with a query to a remote database server. I thought the information when I get a SQL error on a DB Read step would be in the MIVR log, but I am not finding it. Which log file would contain the inforation from that, or is it in a trace file?

Any error you troubleshoot from within a script will be in the MIVR logs.  Perhaps the trace level is not turned up high enough.

For starters, I like to turn up ENG to Debug, and this writes each step of the script to the log file, making it easier to step through the log file and follow the script to the point of failure.
