Deployment model for the SDK components on-premises
These may be questions more appropriate for an architect forum. I'd like to understand the Cisco Context Service deployment topology and management functions: the components necessary to deploy a CS SDK-enabled application in the trusted zone of a client with strong security requirements.
Can you please confirm that the comm protocol is HTTPS? Do you plan to support an off-the-shelf Reverse Proxy Server in the DMZ or will customers need a special gateway? Do expect clients to implement VPN tunnels to Cisco's Context Service?
There are no special VPN or Proxy requirements to access Context Service. Context Service is available on the Internet over HTTPS. If the organization's network needs special access to the Internet from the data center then they will have to take care of that.
