Finesse 10.6.1- Admin pages -buttons 'new', 'edit' etc not always working

This is a new install and I am about to go into training and production.  Odd behavior I have noticed on Finesse Admin and also Finesse Agent.

For Admin when I click on a tab for instance Reason Codes, some of the sections will have the action buttons 'New', 'Edit', 'Delete', 'Refresh'  not active they are little boxes next to the name.   I can sometimes log out and back in again and that tab  will be ok, but then another tab , maybe Phone Books,  will then display the action buttons as not active (cant use them).

I noticed today that it also occurred when I logged in as the agent for testing, the Team Performance page was like that as well, had not seen that previous on Agent,  (but I have not logged into Agent all that often).

Screen shot attached.

I have not seen any mention in the forums , looked through Cisco troubleshooting tips, but have not found mention.

I have restarted Tomcat  (fixing another issue), and restarted the CRS Engine.  Thought problem was fixed but as I have logged in again found it occurred again.

Using:  Windows 7 64 bit  - Firefox version 38.7.0     Java version 8 update 31 (build 1.8.0_31)

Greatly appreciate any assistance

The first and most important thing is that you should be using FQDN of UCCX server to login into Finesse Administration/Desktop and not the IP Address.

Have you tried IE??

Deepak

Hi ,

Using the FQDN  did not change anything, the same things occurs.

I stopped using IE a couple of months ago.  The documentation for Finesse does not say I have to use IE.  It states that Firefox is compatible.  Most of my agents will be using Firefox.

Any other suggestions?

In that case, I believe you should open a TAC case so that they can collect logs from UCCX side along with Browser Console logs and troubleshoot it that way. There is no other setting or a good practice as such that could be a reason for this kind of behavior

Deepak

Thanks for your time,,, I had come to the same conclusion
