Finesse API/SDK - Load balance notification service (XMPP)
Has anyone found a good way to load balance the Finesse API and notification services (443 and 7443)?
We have found that we need to have the 443 and 7443 connection both be the same Finesse server. Is there some internal Finesse API mechanism to solve for selecting the same server for both connections or do we need to use our load balancer to always select the same server for both connections while we round robin between the Finesse server pairs?
We are using the Finesse APIs/SDK (not Finesse Desktop)
Load balancing for Finesse is not supported after the sign in page. This is because Finesse has it's own mechanisims for failing from one side to the other. See the Load Balancing for Finesse section in the installation guide:
