Finesse Desktop Server Not Found

A Abdul

Hello All,

when i try to connect to Finesse desktop i get a "SSL Cerificate Not Accepted" i click OK and the url changes to a FQDM of the UCCX name, not the IP address. I don't have DNS server to resolve that name.

How can i change my UCCX server name to an IP address rather its FQDM?

Screenshots of all errors are attached.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you Anthony Holloway, it was DNS issue. I couldnt build DNS server quickly enough so i updated the windows host file with FQDN of the ccx server.

Now i can login to finesse with supervisor user.

You will need DNS.

DNS configuration and domain fields are mandatory for Unified CCX installation. Both forward and reverse lookups are required.

Also, keep in mind that your hostname must be lower case too.

Hostname must be in lower case, and the character limit is 24 characters.
