Finesse Embeeded WebApp on UCCX 11.6.1

Hi,

I am trying to use the Embedded Webapp gadget on Cisco Finesse with UCCX 11.6.1. However, finesse does not display the gadget. It starts off like it is about to load but stops.

I have tried it with both http and https sites but I have not been able to get the embedded webapp to work.

Hi,

Can you show a screenshot of what you mean when you say "Finesse does not display the gadget"? Is it loading the gadget but doesn't load the URL?

Not all webpages can be embedded in an iframe. There are iframe checkers out there that will tell you if it can be. This is due to clickjacking. If the page can't be loaded in the iframe, it will be blank.

If the webpage can be embedded, the http/https of the url has to match the type of the Finesse desktop. Most browsers do not allow mixed mode content.

Hello,

Finesse tries to load the gadget but does not show anything after it loads. Find attached the screenshot from when it was loading (iframe loading.png) and what is displayed at the end (capture.png).

Also, the webpage allows iframes (I have even tried a blank webpage with only the logo) and I have also enabled mixed mode display on internet explorer to test.

I tried creating another tab called CRM using the code:

<id>CRM</id>
<label>CRM</label>
<gadgets> <gadget>/3rdpartygadget/files/EmbeddedWebApp.xml</gadget>
</gadgets>
</tab>

However, it just displays the outline but does not display the page. I have attached what is displayed.

Hi Tola,

For the latest screenshot where you made the CRM tab, can you open the console in your developer tools and see if there are any errors? It should tell you what the problem is.
