Finesse Fail over to secondary node

One of our clients is using PCCE 10.5. According to finesse guide If primary finesse server due to any reason goes down then the desktop automatically sings the agent into the other server. Just wanted to confirm about the new requests to login. Should agents manually enter the IP/ host name of the secondary finesse? Any reference from Cisco guide.

regards,

Amir

When one of the Finesse servers is down the clients will be automatically redirected to the failover. If you want a true load balancing load balancers would need to be used.

Here is more details:

To expand a bit on what Chris said. If your agents are logged in to FinesseA and it fails they should automatically be moved over to FinesseB. However, any new agents trying to connect to FinA will not be redirected, the agents will have to enter the address for FinB.
