how do I keep my gadget underneath the make a call bar

sometimes the gadget is moved quite far below when I load the page (the space that would be required to show the list of contacts),

and sometimes it's nicely snug against the make a call bar (seems random when I refresh 10x)

Is there a way to ensure it's always against the make a call bar (i.e. when you never open it for contacts as we have a contacts gadget)

Which browser are you using ?.

IE, Firefox, Chrome and what versions ?

I have seen this in not supported browsers,

For uccx 11 the supported browser are:

IE 10 / 11 in native mode

Firefox 38 +

Hm. It should always be snug like the second screenshot. It seems like the rendering is having some issues for the first screenshot. I think the developer tools would need to be used when the issue occurs to debug why it is happening. What version are you on? I will try to reproduce it if I have that version.

Thanx,

Denise

it's in our lab on v11.0(1)

and I think it only happens when you are not ready, when ready and refresh it seems to be okay

right, I use Chrome, which is [STILL!!!] not supported

I'll try FF to see if it behaves better

so it does seem to work fine in FF, thanks!

Hi s.monteiro,

Chrome support finally came in Finesse 11.5: Unified CCX Software Compatibility Matrix for 11.5(1) - DocWiki

Good to know this issue is only on a non-supported browser.

Thanx,

Denise

Hi Denise,

I am having this issue again, and so does a customer of us that we provide a gadget for

I run Finesse 11.6(1) from Chrome 73 (on Mac)

When I close the Call Bar, the gadgets don't move back up to keep snug

it fails on both Chrome and Safari (though Chrome is supported), but it seems to work okay in Firefox

Hi,

I'm able to reproduce this using 11.6(1). There was a bug in 11.5 (https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCvg19001) that was supposed to be fixed in 11.6. For some reason, I don't remember seeing this issue on 11.6(1) a few weeks ago, so not sure if a Chrome update broke it again. I will let the team know though.

Thanx,

Denise

Hi,

I upgraded to 11.6(1) ES2 and I wasn't able to reproduce the problem. Can you try to upgrade to ES2?

Thanx,

Denise

thanks, I'll try that
