Hello everyone,
I've got a UCCE 10.5 environment with Finesse 10.5 and currently all call center agents are connecting to Finesse via http. I have an upcoming requirement that will need all agents to connect to Finesse via https. I also have a requirement for Salesforce to connect to Finesse via https.
I understand an SSL certificate is needed to be installed on Finesse to enable https. I am not familiar with SSL certificate and have have a couple questions.
1. I have an internal Microsoft AD Certificate server that I can generate the ssl certificate from, would this work ? or do I need to get the ssl cert from a third party provider ?
2. How do I correctly install the cert on Finesse ?
Thanks in advance !!!

You will need to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) on each Finesse server and you can then use that to generate a certificate from your Microsoft AD certificate server.
There plenty of pages on the support forums on how to that, it's the same for many products including CCX.
Your agents need to be able to access the Finesse server using https with the fully qualified domain name without any certificate errors.
When that is working there is a CLI command you can use to force all access to be https and turn off http

Hello Graham,
I also have Salesforce connecting to Finesse via https. Would the ssl cert generated from my internal Microsoft AD certificate server work for Salesforce as well ?
Thanks !!!
