ICM 6.0 support for CTI protocol ver 8

Hi,

We have ICM 6.0 installed(without any SR) in a lab environment.We are testing integrating with Witness voice logger.

We were able to integrate Witness with ICM 6.0 using CTI protocol ver 7.

But were not able to integrate Witness with ICM 6.0 using CTI protocol ver 8.

Does ICM 6.0 support CTI protocol ver 8?

Should I apply any patches so that it supports CTI protocol 8.

We tested integrating Witness with ICM 5.0 using CTI protocol ver 7 & 8 & is working fine.

Let me know if anybody has a solution.

You might want to check with TAC for certain.. but its always been my understanding that ver 7 was not to be used in production.. and 8 was for use by CTIOS to connect to CTIServer. Clients such as Witness should use ver 6 Protocol message set exclusively... But like I said you might want to run this by tac to be certain... eestes
