IPCC 3.5.3 Install Trouble

Fresh install of IPCC 3.5.3. After completion and reboot. I dont get a webpage to come up. I've checked the IUSER account they are not part of the guest group. I continue to get 403 Forbidden. I've reinstalled multiple times. Nothing seems to help. Any thoughts?

Hi jcounter,

I had the same problem. It´s a IIS/Windows problem.

Do the following:

Go to Start / Programs / Administrative Tools / Computer Management.

In the left side chose the "Local Users and Groups" and click "Users".

Now all Users of the system are displayed. Open the "IUSR_Guest" Account. Go to the "Member of" tab and add the "Administrators" Group. Now click on "Guests" and remove this group. Done.

I had tried that at one time. Didn't help any.

I've experienced the same problem before, but cannot recall the steps I took to get it to work. Check the event viewer and IIS logs to help track it down. Why not move to IPCC Express 4.x? If you have a contract I believe it is a free upgrade.
