Is it possible to create a screen pop macro that will populate an customer ID or ticket ID into Peoplesoft and query?

I'm uncertain if this will work because Peoplesoft is web browser based. What if they have multiple web browsers open? Has anyone ran into this situation?

I created a script that takes the user's employee # that is verified from a SQL database and returns that information in the enterprise data app, the agents can then look at enterprise data for what they need.
