IPCC Monitoring and recording supported codec

I have a IPCC server with codec g729 due to some remote gateways connected to it. Can I configure the monitoring feature with this codec?

Hi Jose,

According to the Best Practices documentation g729 is supported.Check page 23 Section 5.1.5 Voice Encoding Protocols. From this good doc;

Hi Rob,

I wanted to know if someone has actually used this codec for the monitoring feature because I saw this document you referring to, but I also found this other one below, look at page 52, where it says that g711 must be used, so I don?t know now.

I was made in this year an implementation using monitoring (spam) with G729. It's works!
