Hi!

I wonder if someone has sources of

old IPCC calculator? I mean this one:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/ipcc_enterprise/srnd/7x/c7resrcs.html#wp1040227

Cisco has just shut it down - all URLs are dead (

I have no idea how to recalculate IVR ports for my UCCX 5

Thanks!

More specifically, use the free calculators (link across the top of the page).

Well, it calculates number of agents and lines, but what about IVR ports?

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. I have no idea why Cisco decided to shutdown a perfectly combined good Erlang B and C calculator, but they did. It was there for years, heavily used, and was always a fast way to get a picture of the CC requirements. It was OK before Christmas and then gone in late January.

Now you can get to the same point with a little more work.

1. Erlang C to get ASA and % queued

2. Erlang B on total BHCA for IVR treatment to get number of treatment ports

3. Erlang B on % BHCA queued to get number of queue ports

Cisco also have a UC Sizing Tool that is designed for CVP you can download and use (partner access required). There is another post today from me on this tool. Although designed for CVP it is perfectly applicable to IP IVR.

Geoff

Actually that's what they like to do lately -- giving up good working things, like Anomaly Guard or IOS SLB

Anyway, thanks!

Sorry to read this string. They were good calculators and the CUCST doesn't provide the same information, e.g., how many ports are used for call treatment and how many for queuing.
