Is UCCX 12.5.1 SU1 ready for production?

I want to get the new UCCX Release 12.5 SU1 with Agents' Shared Extension feature deployed ASAP.  Now that 12.5.1 SU1 has been out a couple weeks has anyone had a problem upgrading to this?  Any pitfalls to be aware of?

Hi,

Recently I performed upgrade of UCCX from 12.5.1 to 12.5.1SU1 and did not face any issues. I have followed below upgrade guide, release notes, and compatibility matrix. Please make sure you read these documents thoroughly and make sure everything is in place related to your environment before doing upgrade activity:

During upgrade you need to be little patient as each step takes some time to come up. Couple of times I was nervous when services were in "Starting" state after switch version for more than 5-7 minutes and when database replication took almost 30 minutes to be in good state. But I made sure not to interrupt any process during upgrade and waited patiently until the upgrade was successful.

 

Attached is the document that I prepared when I was doing this activity. But make sure, you follow the steps as per upgrade guide and according to your environment. Please consult with Cisco TAC if you come across any issues during upgrade.
