Hi all,
in a few month the tool "Message of the day" will be set up in our company. I want to upload a .wav file on it.
Can anyone tell me 1) how big the .wav files can be and 2) is there a time limit?
Many thanks

You're not providing enough information. Are you using UCCX or E or something else? Generally, there's no reasonable size limit to the prompts, but you want to keep your messages to be as short as possible. Outage messages or announcements could run a bit longer, but anything more than 30 seconds is not recommended unless the caller is able to bypass the message.

Thanks for the answer.
Honestly, I have no idea what we are using. But if there is no size limit in general it would be great. We plan to upload 30 minutes of information for our colleagues (field crew). Do you think that would work technically?
Many thanks

Wow, ok so that might change things a bit. First, find out what you're using as that's important. Second, you will have to break this prompt apart into smaller pieces. The caller experience is going to be terrible to have to sit through 30 minutes of messages. I would recommend that you create a way for the caller to "rewind" and "forward". Maybe break up the recording into 1 minute pieces and let users pick what minute they want to listen to and use * and # to rewind or go forward.
