Migrating an agent to Finesse - Mixed Mode

Yort Mantup
Level 4
Level 4

UCCX 10.6 (SU1)

I enabled Finesse from the CLI on both nodes.  I created a new team with agents in CAD to test in Finesse. Idea is to build and test using a made up team and then migrate other teams over to Finesse when ready.   I am unable to find a document that explains how to migrate an existing CAD user/team over to Finesse.

Hi Troy,

There is no such step my step documentation available.

However I was able to find this doc:http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_10_6/design/guide/UCCX_BK_CBB99111_00_cisco-unified-contact-center-express/UCCX_BK_CBB99111_00_cisco-unified-contact-center-express_appendix_0111.html#UCCX_RF_...

Check :Cisco Finesse Migration

I would suggest move agents queue by queue, once you have one queue configured with all reason codes ask them to start using finesse instead of CAD, start with the smallest team and move your way up.

I doubt that it will work with 10.6(1) SU1 but definitely works with v11 still you can check with TAC for final confirmation on this. If it does not, then you will need to configure everything manually as suggested by Chakshu.

Hi Deepak,

I need to migrate our CAD agents to Finesse and tried the above link but il looks like it's not a valid link. Could you please let me know where I can find and download it? It will be very helpful for us as we have more than 4000 agents.

Thanks,

Mk

Deepak,

I was able to find the tool and try to export and import data from CAD to Finesse. Here's the output of the tool. Il looks like it didnot migrate the Teams and some other configuration . Does it mean I have migrate the teams manually? Would you please let me know how can I start the migration manually?
