Dear Experts;

We have a UCCE migration from 7.5 to 10.X  with new hardware from MCS to UCS.

Customer has existing AD with windows 2012 and customer wants to use  the same AD.

My question is how we will use same Cisco_ICM instance for the Existing production one and also the new upgrade system?

As the system software always uses a  Cisco Root OU named “Cisco_ICM”

Appreciate your valuable reply.

Regards

Deb

Hello Deb,

Have a look at the snippet from staging guide, I think you should create different facility OU, I think this is one you are looking for.

The Facility OU provides an administrative separation between Unified ICM instances. For example, you might have different Facility OUs for Lab and Production Unified ICM instances; or in a Unified ICMH deployment, you might have separate Facility OUs for NAM and CICM instances.

An Facility OU inherits the permissions set for the containing Cisco Root OU; you can then specify different user permissions specific to that Facility.

Senthil
