There is a field in Cisco TCD with the name of NEWTRANSACTION. Why is it used? What is its function?

You can find the information in Cisco dbschema guide. Each CCE versions has its own dbschema guide.

Thanks ritdesai. I have already viewed this schema. I get the definition that I have posted in my original question. I want an explanation. How exactly is this variable used? its relevance in TCD table
