Not authorised to reference existing field

Possibly related to the other issue just recently posted but looks like a slightly different scenario.    Creation of new fields works OK but creating a fieldset and adding them fails with authorisation error referencing the field just created.

12:25:38.000 [Thread-5] ERROR c.c.t.c.ContextServiceClientImpl - RestApiError with errorType: invalidInput, errorData: fields, errorMessage: 0312422b-8eb8-4f21-8c64-5469135e970d is not authorized to reference field IoT_MAC_Address, trackingId: 5ffac375-d170-4bf6-8f31-0b2d074a009f

The field definitely exists and its properties can be accessed.

ID: IoT_MAC_Address

Classification: PII

Type: string

URI: id/IoT_MAC_Address

Thanks Ankit.   Unfortunately that wasn't the case as the field was already created and searchable before the operation was attempted to create the fieldset containing it.  That said, the issue appears to have gone away with plugin version 10513 so we'll regard it as sorted.

Paul,

Sorry for the delay. Once the fields are created, you would need to wait about 1 second before you add them in fieldset. This delay is because Elastic Search needs to index fields before they are searchable. Once they are indexed (within 1 second), you should be able add them to fieldset.

Thank you
