Hi, I'm teaching a customer who just purchased CVP 8.5 (not installed yet).
They were told that they wouldn't need too many ASR licenses - that within a call, they could use ASR and then free up the license within the self-service (VXML Server app).
I know this is the method TTS uses (get lic, speak one TTS prompt, free license), and I know Nuance supports this (get, do one recognition, free) for ASR, but it's not the norm. And I didn't think Cisco provided a way to do this for ASR, or that Cisco supported this.
Can anyone answer this definitively? Perhaps this is new to CVP 8.5?
