I know we can get the Extension of the Agent's phone via Finesse API .
But I would like to be able to obtain the #DEVICENAME# of the phone, e.g. SEPAB1234ABBA12 via the API (ideally included in the Javascript API).
Many simple Cisco Phone XML App, use #DEVICENAME# - such as Pause and Resume Apps utilise this in their URL.
Other examples are the Finesse IP Phone App itself and Extension Moblity.
I would like to be able to re-use some of these existing APIs from 3rd parties solutions (e.g. Call recording solutions etc.) via a FInesse Gadget instead of from the phone - which is better for the end user.
Reviewing the Finesse API documentation - it does not seem possible to get this info today?
Any know if I incorrect and that there is a way to obtain the Agent's DeviceName?
