passing peripheral variable from One Dn to another DN

Hi All,

I received call.peripheral variable1 from inbound call in Cisco icm scripts. I need to send the same

call.peripheral variable1 value to some other Inbound call route response(different DN, different scripts). How can i achieve this in Cisco ICM?

Thanks,

Senthil.

Is there some reason you need it to come in on a separate DN? You could use a requalify node to trigger whatever calltype/script you want to handle the call.

Thanks for the quick response.

My Call Flow is:

1. Agent1 gets the inbound call

2. Agent1 updates the call data and transfer the call to Second DN

3. The second Dn executes the icm script and provide the third DN.

4. Thrid DN executes the script and send the call to Agent2 with Agent1 call data

Is this possible in CIsco ICM?

Thnaks,

Senthil.

And are these agents on the same peripheral? It seems like an overly complex call flow. I would have Agent1 make the updates and use a transfer number configured in Dialed Number Plan to kick off the new script. It'll never leave ICM and all your data should be preserved.

Both agents are different peripheral.

What type of peripherals? If they're TDM ACDs, you'll need to set up translation routing if you want the data to go with the call.

Are we talking about two different ICM systems or is it the same ICM with different peripherals?
